The Geological Characterisitcs of Gold Mineralization in Ghina
|
Abstract:
China is tectonically located at the intersection of Eurasian ,Pacific and Indian plates. In terms ofits regional metallization setting,China can be divided into Paleo-Asian,marginal-Pacific domain andTethyan-Himalayan moga-provinces with different evolution history and mineralization characteris-tics.The mineralization background for gold deposits in China is various. The types of gold depositsare complex and characterized by active continental crust mineralization. The time and space distribu-tion of guld deposits varies from arca to area.Hydrothermal gold depeits are mcatly epigenitic in char-acter. The most important type of depeit is Linglong-Jiaojia type in metasomatic granitic complex, followed by quartz vein type and mylonitized zone type in Precambrian metamophic rocks. Fine im-ptegration type and volcanic hydrothermal type gold deposits are also potential. The proportion of goldresources is:51.7%primary gold,31.48% by-preduct gold and 16.76%placer gold.
