On the Classification of Mineral Resurces and Its Implications
简论矿产资源分类及其意义

This article deals with the principles and bases for the classification of mineral resources. It proposes a new schlme of classification and discusses the ways of classifying disputed mineral re-sources. This important implications to the rethinking of these mineral resources with the aim to pro- mote their multi-direction development and utilization .It points out that with the rapid advances inscience the uses of many minerals are under constant change and new areas of application emerge. Therefore, it is necessary to readjust the classification of mineral resources in order to meet the re-quirement of the time.
