The pttD Path of High-Pressure Metamorphic Rocks of Xiongdian, Southern Henan
|
Abstract:
The high-pressure metamorphic rock block of Xiongdian,Southern Henan, have been experienced 6 stages of deformation and metamorphism. They are from the ductile shear deformation and eclogite facies metamorphism under the compression dynamic mechanism at the lower crustal level, through the thrust nappe and epidote amphibolite facies metamorphism under a continuous compression mechanism at the medium crustal level, and the brittle_ductile deformation and greenschist facies metamorphism under the extension condition at the upper crust,to the brittle deformation and dynamic metamorphic rocks and their exhumation towards the upper crust derived from the ductile deformation under a continuous compression mechanism, whereas the expose of these rocks at surface fesulted from the extension and faulting.
