LATE JURASSIC FRESH-WATER OSTRACODS FROM THE QAIDAM BASIN

Abstract:
The ostracods described in this paper were collected from the Hongshuigou group in the Qaidam basin. The fossils concerned are abundant and well preserved. They are composed of 10 species in four genera, of which 9 species are new.Based on the study of the ostracod fauna,it is considered that the Hongshuigou group in the Qaidam basin may belong to Late Jurassic.
