The Paleosubmarine Volcanism and Mineralization in North Qilian Mountains
|
Abstract:
This paper makes an approach to the history of tectono_magmatic evolution, the types and backguounds of mineralization prior to the orogenic period of north Qilian Mountains. The authors point out that during the process of Paleozoic ocean basin opening and closing, the large scale marine volcanism and the formtion of massive sulfide deposits controlled by sea floor hydrothermal circulation systems seemed to be two prominent features in the geological develping history of the orogenic belt, and were also two most important aspects related to each other.Hence, they should be given special attention in the geological study of the region.
