MIDDLE AND EARLY LATE DEVOMIAN MEGESPORES FROM EASTERN YUNNAN

Profuse and wel preserved assemblages of megaspores have been recovered from the Middle and early Upper Devonian in eastern Yunnan Province. Thiry species and varities of the megaspores are recognzed, and disributed among 10 genera, including eight new species: Verrucisporites reticuloides, V. lunanesis, Biharisporites microspinosus, Trichodosporites mirabilis, Nikitinsporites yunnanensis, N. sinensis, N. maximus, and Lagenicula verruosa.
