Geochemistry of the K6 Coal Seam in the Qinglong Mine, Guizhou Province
|
Abstract:
Geochemical characteristics of the Late Permian K6 Coal seam in the Qinglong Mine of western Guizhou Province were studied by such methods as inductively-coupled plasma-mass spectroscopy, X-ray fluorescence spectrometry, scanning electron microscopy equipped with energy-dispersive X-ray, and sequential chemical extraction. The results reveal that, in addition to Cu, S, and Fe, bornite is the main carrier of Bi and Pb. The high content of Cr, Cu, F, U, and Zr is attributed to the special material of volcanic origin.
