Geological-Geochemical Characteritics of the Shiuh Gold Deposit in Western Hebei Province

Based on mine geology and geochemical characteristics of ore trace elements,rare earth elements and stable isotopes in the Shihu gold deposit,the authors have reached the conclusion that the gold ore-bearing horizon is Tuanpokou Formation of Archean Fuping Group.An analysis of sulfur and lead isotopes shows that sulfur and lead were derived from the mantle,and further studies suggest that the Shihu gold deposit derived its ore-forming materials from the source bed.
