The Teleconnection Structure of Outgoing Longwave Radiation Anomalies in Tropics and Its Seasonal Variation

In this paper, the teleconnection structure of OLR anomalies in tropics in January and July and itsseasonal variation of monthly teleconnection pattern are studied. It is shown that the teleconnectionpatteru in the tropical low-latitlldes appears the structure of zonal dipole and quasi-stationary wavefeature. The result is related to the air-sea interaction in the tropical Pacific and the action of summermonsoon over South Asia.
