The radiative heating characteristics in the cloudy and aerosol-laden atmospheres
|
Abstract:
The radiative heating characteristics in the cloudy and aerosol-laden atmospheres under normal and duststorm conditions are studied using atmospheric radiative model in this paper. The results indicate that under different weather conditions, the effects of clouds and aerosol on atmospheric radiative heating are different, which depend on the characteristics (height, thickness, liquid water content) of clouds as well as the mass concentration, vertical distribution and optical property of aerosol in the atmosphere.
