INTERPOLATION OF 3D LASER POINT CLOUDS DATA BASED ON KRIGING INTERPOLATION AND SURFACE FITTING

Abstract:
When using 3D laser point clouds data to obtain DEM,there is need to mend the data,because the sampling blind exists and many non-ground points were eliminated in the filtering process.The Kriging algorithm has been applied extensively in the data interpolation.In this paper,a new method to the parameter estimate of variogram theory model has been put forward.According to the principle of Kriging algorithm combining with surface fitting the defects of low efficiency is overcome.Finally,an example is investigated to verify the validity and practicability in the interpolation of point clouds data.
