The Effect of Self-shortening on the Stability Region of Passive Kerr Mode-locking Laser
|
Abstract:
By using the matrix theory and the stability region theory of laser cavity, the relationship between the stability region and the pulse power in the cavity was studied, and the effect of self shortening on the stability region of passive Kerr mode locked laser resonators was described. By considering this effect, the realizability and the stability of the cavity can be improved, when a high power and asymmetric laser cavity is considered
