Today,urban development is so rapid that the updated cycle of geodatabase should be shortened.After studying existing results based on GIS and CAD models,the updating system based on Check Out/In is put forward.By use of the CAD's mapping functions fully,new surveyed data are inserted into the area to be updated,and saved to a sub-geodatabase.At the same time,its parent geodatabase will detect it and respond to automaticly.Experimental results certify that this method can update the city's fundamental geoda...
