THE STUDY OF D-EDFA OF SLOWLY VARIOUSLY DOPED DENSITY ALONG PROPAGATION

Abstract:
Based on analyzing distributed erbium doped fiber amplifier(d-EDFA)of evenly doped density along propagating direction, we put forward two sort d-EDFAs of slowly and linearly variously doped density along propagating direction: one-variation and two-variation d-EDFA, and by using convective equations study the propagating properties of signal and noise in three sort d-EDFAs, noise figure, signal-noise ratio, necessary pump and optimal pump period, under both transparent transmission and optimal doped density.
