MODIFIED DOUBLE-INTEGRATING-SPHERE SYSTEM FOR MEASURING THE OPTICAL PROPERTIES OF TISSUE

Abstract:
An improved double integrating sphere system for measuring the optical properties of tissue was developed, which eliminated effects from power fluctuation by monitoring the lased power, The component, technique and IAD arithmetic were illustrated in detail. The optical properties of Intralipid 10% and Evens blue (632. 8nm) were measured by normal or improved double integrating sphere sysem. More exact measurement results were obtained by the improved system than by normal system.
