A novel optical miplenientation of fundamental operations of mathematical morphology processing has been developed.Also a programmable hybrid optronic bmary image algebra processor(HOEBIAP) based on a liquid crystal television spatial light modulators(LCTV-SLMs),CCD caniera and a microprocessor is established.The uses in image processing and object recognition are given.
