SELECTION OF PROPER EMBEDDING DIMENSION IN PHASE SPACE RECONSTRUCTION OF SPEECH SIGNALS

Abstract:
In phase space reconstruction of time sequences, the selection of embedding dimension is important. Based on the idea of looking at the behavior of near neighbors under changes in the reconstruction dimension, a new method to determine the proper minimum embedding dimension is constructed. This method has a sound theoretical basis and can get good result. By the way, it can indicate the noise level in the data to be reconstructed, and estimate the effect of reconstruction. It is applied to speech signal reconstruction.
