CORROSION RESISTANCE OF HIGH FREQUENCY PULSE ELECTROPLATED Ni-Co COATING IN 3.5% NaCl SOLUTION

Abstract:
The corrosion resistance of high frequency pulse electroplated Ni-Co coating in 3.5% NaC1 solution was studied.The results indicated that as the frequency increased the coating tended to be much compact and therewith the weight loss rate of the coating immersed in 3.5% NaC1 solution decreased.The anodic polarization curves for the coatings electroplated at high frequency pulses were similar to that plated with DC current.As the pulse frequency increased,Ecorr shifted towards positive and Icorr decreased.Thu...
