After an oxygenated treatment was applied for the feed water,the tube leakage and bursting problems of high temperature superheater of a 1025t/h boiler occurred.The analysis of chemical composition,mechnical performance test,examinations with metallography,scanning electron microscopy(SEM) and X-ray diffraction(XRD) were conducted with the failure tubes.The results show that the free oxygen might be existed in vapor system,therefore,oxygen corrosion could occurr.The oxide scales on tubes surface in high tem...
