A COMBINED CORROSION INHIBITOR FOR ETHANOL COOLANT
乙醇冷媒液中复配缓蚀剂的研究

The common composition of corrosion inhibitor for ethanol coolant were summarized in the paper. A new novel combined corrosion inhibitor without nitrite was prepared and then its corrosion inhibition efficiency for A3 steel, copper alloy and aluminium in 20 % ethanol solution was evaluated by weight loss method. The results show that the new corrosion inhibitor is effective for protection of carbon steel, stainless steel, copper and aluminum alloys in the ethanol-based coolant. The coolant added with the environmental-friendly inhibitor also exhibits a better stability, lower freezing point and higher boiling point than the blank sample.
