OPTICAL CALCULATION FOR REFLECTIVE LIQUID CRYSTAL DISPLAY

In this paper，it is developed Berreman’s 4×4 matrix and extended Jone’s matrix for reflective liquid crystal display respectively.Two types of reflectors，metal reflectors and dielectric reflectors are considered.Electro-optics and viewing characteristic of our new reflective liquid crystal cell is simulated in this paper.
