HIGH EFFICIENCY Nd: YVO_4 LASER END-PUMPED BY DIODE LASER

Experimental results for LD pumped Nd: YVO4 laser with an ordinary plain-plain resonator are reported here. Laser output of 4.95W is obtained at pump power of 10. 6 W, resulting in slope efficiency of 53. 8%. We also get a slope efficiency: as high as 55.68%. Experimental results are also discussed.
