Microbial Methods Used in Study of Microbially Influenced Corrosion

This paper reviews the application of microbiological methods in biocorrosion study. These techniques include culture methods and direct detection methods. The progress of these techniques and some techniques used in biofilm related problems are discussed. The chemical analysis of the macromolecules in biofilm are also introduced in this paper.
