THE STUDY OF CONTOURED BEAM OF SATELLITE REFLECTOR ANTENNA

Abstract:
Array-fed parabolic reflector and shaped reflector with a single feed are usually used to be contoured beam satellite antenna. In the paper, in accordance with the feature of array feeds of the former and the complex reflector surface shape of the latter, genetic algorithms and conjugate gradient method are chosen to optimize these two kinds of antennas to contour China map respectively, which proves that the algorithms are effective in the optimization of contoured beam of satellite reflector antenna.
