A Denoising Technique for Ultraweak Photon Images Using Cross-Validation

There have been many efforts using the ultraweak photon emission images to analyze the biological system.Issues concerning denoising technique to improve the image quality are addressed. A wavelet algorithm based on cross-validation theory is suggested. Computer simulation and experiments demonstrate that it can remove a lot of noise and provide better SNR quality.
