EXPERIMENTAL STUDY OF OPTICAL FIBER SOLITON TRANSMISSION
光孤子传输的实验研究

A nearly transform-limited quasi-soliton pulse has been developed by means ofcompensating for red-shifted chirping of a gain-switched(GS)optical-pulse-generator using a fiberwith normal dispersion. The decreasing pulse-width at fiber output owing to the increasing pulsepower,which shows nonlinear soliton effect,also has been successfully observed in our experiments.
