he modulation characteristics of a nonlinear loop mirror(NLM)was discovered theoretically and was analyzed and calculated in detail.This paper gives the explanation for the pulse compression and modulation using NLM that incorporates a fiber amplifier.We suppose that the modulation characteristics of NLM should provide a possibility to get shorter pulses.
