TRANSMISSION-FUNCTION OF FABRY-PEROT INTERFEROMETER CONSIDERING SPECTRUM DISTRIBUTION OF INPUT LIGHT AND LOSS

Abstract:
The multiple beam interference is analyzed with the partially coherent light theory,and the transmission function of Fabry Perot (F P) interferometer considering spectrum distribution of input light and loss is obtained.The effect of loss and spectral bandwidth of input light upon the top high,contrast and finesse of transmission function (as well as the properties of F P Interferometer) are discussed.
