STUDY OF OPTIMUM GAIN LENGTH FOR DYE LASERS AMPLIFIER

Abstract:
The effect of excited-state absorption (ESA) at the laser wavelength in transversely-pumped dye laser amplifiers is considered. Assuming a steady-state conditions, we use maximal prineiple to get a expression of optimum gain versus dye length, Which is useful for designing cavity of dye laser amplifiers.
