INHIBITION OF MOLYBDATE INHIBITOR FOR Q235 STEEL IN 5 g/L Cl- SOLUTION

Abstract:
Inhibition performance of molybdate inhibitors for Q235 steel in 5 g/L Cl-solution was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.The experimental results showed that molybdate can reach better inhibition effect by compounding with silicate,phosphate and organic amine A.The results of weight loss experiments show that the corrosion inhibition efficiency of the compound inhibitors is near 84.4%,which is better than any individual inhibitor studied.
