A NOVEL METHOD SUITABLE FOR THE STUDY OF THE CHARACTERISTICS OF OPTICAL FIBRE

Abstract:
In this paper. based on the microwave theory. the dispersion characteristics ofoptical fibre are studiedby using the two dimensional CGFDTD method which is generalused to analyze the tran smission structure in microwave. The singular point of differenceequatio ns at the center of circle is canceled by using the superposition theorem ofdectromagnetic field when the method is used to simulate the optical fibre. In thehst. the valltiity are proved by analyzing the simple testing structure.
