WEAR- AND CORROSION-RESISTANCE OF NANO-SiO2 COMPOSITE EPOXY AND POLYURETHANE COATINGS
纳米氧化硅复合环氧和聚氨酯涂料耐磨性与耐蚀性研究

Nano-SiO2 composite epoxy coating and polyurethane coating were prepared by a two-step process.In comparison with neat coatings,the micro hardness of the nano-SiO2 composite epoxy coating and the polyurethane coating increased 7% and 6.2% respectively,therewith,the wear resistance of them was also significantly enhanced.The incorporation of nano-SiO2 particles increased evidently the corrosion resistance for the polyurethane coating,however,and did no change that for the epoxy coating.
