RESEARCH FOR SUPPRESSING GREEN LIGHT FLUCTUATIONS OF OW MODE-LOCKED FREQUENCY-DOUBLED Nd: YAG LASER
抑制CW锁模倍频Nd：YAG激光器绿光输出波动的研究

The output green light amplitude fluctuations of CW mode-locked frequency- doubled Nd:YAG cannot be explained by any of the existing theories of intracavity frequency- doubled.In this paper,the mechanism for suppressing the insta bility effectively by inserting a QWP inside the cavity has been analyzed theoretically and briefly.It has been fo und that the instability arises from the mode couphng between the two independent polarization modes.
