This paper introduces the development of online and offline techniques for corrosion monitoring and inspection.The new corrosion techniques such as fiber optical sense technique,hologram interference technique and so on had been introduced besides the conventional techniques for monitoring and inspection,and the developing direction of corrosion monitoring techniques was also discussed.
