THE MICROWWE ABSORBING PROPEMY OF THE NICKEL-COATED CARBON FIBRE FELTS
|
Abstract:
Epoxy resin-based microwave absorbing composites consisting of three layers were prepared by using glass fibres, nickel-coated carbon fibre felts and highly conductive nickel-coated carbon fibres. The reflective absorbing properties of the composites in microwave frequency regimes were determined. The influence of the amount of nickel on the absorbing properties of the composites was discussed. It was found that the carbon fibre felts coated with a certain amount of nickel could show some good absorbing performance. By adding some carbon black and ferrite and designing properly.the absorbing performance of the composite can be improved remarkably.
