ADIABATIC SHEARING AND DYNAMIC RECRYSTALLIZING IN 30MnCrNiMoB STEEL

Abstract:
The strain and temperature rise within the adiabatic shear bands (ASB)produced by orthogonal cutting in 30MnCrNiMoB steel are calculated. The results show that the values of the strain and the temperature rise are inereased with increasing of the cutting speed. Observations by TEM show that the Structures of the ASB produtal at the cutting spes less than 1. 123m / s are the fragmental and the dynamic recrytallhahon occurs during the formation of the ASB at the cutting speed of 1.57m / s. Additionally, the carbides aaslerate mainly the recrystallization process.
