Taking clay mineral as raw material the rubber reinforcing filler with beneficial effect was made though raw material treating, supermicrocrashing and surface modifieding dry method. The relation among reinforcing effect, the kinds of clay mineral, the size of micropowder, the kinds and amount of coupling agent were investigated. The surface medifield mochanizm of clay micropowdor by dry mothod was alsoapproached more deeply in this paper. The results is important for the research and devolopment ofrubber-clay composite material and the new kinds of rubber reinforce filler.
