STRESS-STRAIN RESPONSES OF LOW-CYCLE FATIGUE IN COMMERCIAL PURITY TITANIUM
|
Abstract:
The cyclic stress-strain responses of low cycle fatigue in annealed commercial purity titaniumhas been measured. The ratio (DM' EM) of dynamic modulus (DM) to elastic moduIus (EM) was selected to measure the relative "softeness" and "hardeness" degree of materials, the experiment results showed that the final value of DM' EM has a trend to reach some range from 0.35 to 0.40. The relationship of the new parameter (DM' EM) with cyclic hardening and cyclic softening was discussed.
