A SIMPLE METHOD FOR THE EXTRACTION OF FRINGE SKELETONS

A new robust algorithm about fringe skeletons extraction is presented in this paper,which is based on Laplacian transformation and can filter off noise on various fringe patterns efficiently without distortion of fringe features.A process for automatically extracting fringe skeletons is also proposed.The effectiveness of this technique is illustrated experimentally.
