DEVELOPMENT OF ZINC STEARATE-BASE SELF-LUBRICAfING ANODIC OXIDIZED Al BY ELECTROCHEMICAL IN-SITU SYNTHESIZING METHOD
|
Abstract:
In this research, aiming at the reguar microscopic porous anodic oxidized layer of Al material, the friction coefficient of anodic oxided Al material is dereased from about 0.7 to less than 0.3, and its wear to tribo-couple is lowered about 3 orders because of synthesizing lubricant zinc stearate in its porous by electrochemical in-situ synthesizing method. To compare with the impregnation method, the self-lubricating life of the sample modified by electrochemical in-situ synthesizing method is long more than 10 times. Sudece analysis results show that the excellent tribological properties are based on electrochemical method having more lubricant move into the porous to form a structure similar to "miniature inlay".
