THE EFFECT OF POSTCURED STRAINING ON THE FATIGUE PROPERTIES OF VIRALL LAMINATES
预拉伸形变对VIRALL复合板疲劳性能的影响

The effect of postcured straining on the fatigue properites of VIRALL laminates has beenexperimentally investigated in the present paper. It is fornd that the fatigue life is prolonged with the increase of prestrain. Through analysing the variations of the inner ply stresses of aluminum sheets and vinylon/epoxy layers in VIRALL with the increasing of prestrain, it is revealed that the influence of prestrain on fatigue properties is attributed to changing the inner ply stress states in aluminium sheets and vinylon/epoxy layers.
