NANO-CRYSTALLINE DIAMOND PREMRATION BY INDUCING REACTION AT LIQUID-SOLID INTERFACE

Abstract:
A novel pulsed laser ablation technique has been used for the synthesis of nano crystalline diamond from a solid graphite target in the reactive liquid. Electron diffraction and high resolution electron micrograph indicate that particles are of hexagonal and cubic diamonds and their average size ranges from 40nm to 400nm.
