MICROMECHANICAL ANALYSIS AND EXPERIMENTAL OBSERVATIONS ON CRACK INITIATION IN METAL MATRIX COMPOSITES

According to a contact theory of Bousinesq spatial problem, a micromechanical model has been built to analyse the axial effective stresses in microstructural element of discontinuously reinforced metal matrix composites(DRMMCs), and a coordinate equation
