EFFECT OF MORPHOLOGY OF SECONDARY PARTICLES OF PVC PASTE RESINS ON GELATION PROCESS
聚氯乙烯糊树脂次级粒子形态对凝胶化过程的影响

The morphology of particles of PVC paste resins was observed by using ascanning electron microscope.The gelation process was measured by using a Brabenderplastometer.The results show that morphology of secondary particles of PVC paste resinscan be divided into two groups.Some of the resins have spongy secondary structure,andothers exist as compact secondary particles.There is some important difference in gelationtemperature and the form of gelation curves between the two group of resins.The effect ofparticle structure on gelation process may be greater than effect of the degree ofpolymerization.
