A two-year survey of atmospheric corrosion of A3 Steel in industrial cities inLiaoning has been made.The results of the field exposure have been analyzed in combinationwith environmental data.The time of wetness and the amount of pollutant SO_2 seem to be themost important factors determining the atmospheric corrosion rate of A3 steel.
