PROPERITES AND THERMAL STABILITY OF A TOUGHENED BISMALEIMIDE RESIN
|
Abstract:
A toughened bismaleimide resin was made from his (4, 4'- maleimidodiphenyl)-methane and 2, 2-bis (4-hydroxy-3-allylphenyl) propane. The properties for the resins were determined and the effect of some factors on the properties was investigated. The results showed that the bismaleimide resinis necessarily used as not only a resin matrix for advanced composite materials but also an insulation material. The thermal stability for the crosslinked N, N'.4,4'-diphenylmethane-bbismaleimide and cured bismaleimide / 2,2'-diallyl bisphenol A resin was studied and a degradation mechanism for the cured bismaleimide was suggested in present paper.
