MICROSTRUCTURE AND CATALYTIC PROPERTIES OF RAPIDLY OUENCHED Ni-Al ALLOY

Abstract:
Ni-Al alloy was prepared by rapid quenching.The microstructure and catalyticproperties of rapidly quenched Ni-Al alloy and primary Ni-Al alloy were studied.The resultshows that rapidly quenched Ni-Al alloy has fine and homogeneous structure and containsmore NiAl phase;distribution of Cr,Fe elements is more homogeneous.After activation,rapid-ly quenched Ni-Al alloy has smaller pore volume and diameter.Catalytic properties of rapidlyquenched Ni-Al alloy are superior to those of primary Ni-Al alloy.
