LASER COATING OF Ni BASED-WCALLOY ON 15MnV STEEL

In order to strengthen the air-blower blade in the mining industry,a newprocess of Ni base-WC alloy coated on 15MnV steel by flame operating followed by lasercoating was investigated.The fine microstructure of alloy layer on the steel is determined bycontrolling the laser treating parameters.Follow-up heat treatment was used to improvethe microstructure of laser coated layer.
