THE ANALYSIS ON FRACTURE SECTION OF METALS BY X-RAY FRACTOGRAPHY

Abstract:
The fracture sections of metals under loading conditions,cyclicloading,monotonic loading and impact loading have been analyzed by Fourierseries analysis method.The results show that the micro-distortion of fracturesection in cyclic loading specimen is larger than that in monotonic loading speci-men.The grain size of fracture section in cyclic loading specimen is larger thanthat in monotonic loading specimen.However,the dislocation density of cyclicloading specimen is smaller than the dislocation density of monotonic loadingspecimen.The reason of producing different state in different type fracturesection was discussed.
