Approximate Symmetry Reduction to the Perturbed One-Dimensional Nonlinear Schr dinger Equation

The one-dimensional nonlinear Schr dinger equation with a perturbation of polynomial type is considered. Using the approximate symmetry perturbation theory, the approximate symmetries and approximate symmetry reduction equations are obtained.
